B’ham & Black Country Wildlife Trust ‘Wild Day of Action’

To support the Government’s Year of Green Action Birmingham and Black Country Wildlife Trust are organising lots of Wild Action Days where you can get involved to make your neighbourhood a wildlife haven. A team of experts and volunteers will be on hand to help you sample practical conservation activities, make nature crafts or join walks and talks.

On Thursday 1st August from 11am to 3pm ‘My Wild Day of Action’ will be held at Smestow Valley Local Nature Reserve, Meadow View Terrace, Wolverhampton, WV6 8NX

Activities throughout the day will include mini-beast hunts, wildlife talks and bird feeder/nest box making. I’m delighted to be leading a guided bird identification walk around the reserve between 11:30am and 1pm (booking required – see link below for details).

Further information can be found at B&BC Wildlife Trust ‘Wild Day of Action’

All activities are free, although donations are very welcome!
